Why Stay at Queen Vic Bed & Beverage?

⭐ Best for: Couples, first-time Provincetown visitors & boutique hotel lovers
📍 Location: Commercial Street, directly across from Boatslip Resort

Why We Love It:

  • Fantastic front patio for people watching
  • Breakfast delivered to your room
  • Clothing-optional hot tub
  • Prime Commercial Street location
  • Walking distance to restaurants, bars, beaches, and nightlife

Formerly a historic sea captain's home, Queen Vic has evolved into one of Provincetown's most charming boutique guesthouses.

The property recently became one of the first "Bed & Beverage" concepts in Provincetown thanks to its newly acquired liquor license. While many guests initially book because of the location, it's the warm hospitality, beautiful accommodations, and intimate atmosphere that keep people returning year after year.

Unlike some larger guesthouses, Queen Vic feels personal and relaxed while still delivering a luxury experience.

Location

One of Queen Vic's biggest selling points is its location.

Situated directly on Commercial Street and across from the world-famous Boatslip Beach Club, you're perfectly positioned to experience Provincetown on foot.

Nearby attractions include:

  • Boatslip Tea Dance
  • Commercial Street shopping
  • Atlantic House (A-House)
  • Gifford House
  • Tin Pan Alley
  • Joe Coffee & CafĂ©
  • MacMillan Pier
  • Provincetown Harbor

Whether you're heading to brunch, the beach, happy hour, or dancing until 1 a.m., everything is within walking distance.

The front patio is also one of our favorite places in town to sit with a coffee, glass of wine, or cocktail and watch the world go by.

Amenities

For a small property, Queen Vic packs in plenty of amenities.

Clothing-Optional Hot Tub

One of our favorite features is the newly installed hot tub located in the backyard garden.

Unlike many properties in Provincetown, Queen Vic's hot tub is clothing optional.

Needless to say, we appreciated that.

Front Patio

If we had to pick one signature feature of Queen Vic, it might actually be the front patio.

Located directly on Commercial Street, it's the perfect place to enjoy morning coffee, afternoon drinks, or simply watch Provincetown life unfold around you.

Outdoor Spaces

The property includes:

  • Front patio seating
  • Backyard garden seating
  • Second-floor outdoor seating areas
  • Hot tub courtyard
  • Quiet reading spaces

The indoor-outdoor flow throughout the house creates a relaxed Cape Cod atmosphere that's hard not to love.

Accomodations

Queen Vic offers just nine guest rooms, helping maintain its intimate boutique atmosphere.

During our stay, we had the opportunity to tour multiple room categories.

Room 13 – The Head of State

⭐ Best For: Travelers seeking the largest room in the house

This is the room we stayed in during our visit.

Located at the top of the grand staircase, The Head of State features:

  • Deluxe king bed
  • Spacious seating area
  • Large bathroom
  • Mini-fridge
  • Wardrobe storage
  • Bay window overlooking Commercial Street
  • Luxurious linens
  • Plush bathrobes

The room feels incredibly spacious yet comfortable. After several busy days exploring Provincetown Pride, we genuinely looked forward to returning here each evening.

The bed was exceptionally comfortable, and the elevated design made it feel much more luxurious than its price point suggested.

  • Bathrobes

We were especially impressed by the bathroom and classic Cape Cod design touches throughout the room.

Food & Drink

One of the highlights of staying at Queen Vic is breakfast.

Each evening you'll complete a breakfast order form and the following morning breakfast is delivered directly to your room.

Favorites during our stay included:

  • Fresh yogurt
  • Eggs made to order
  • Coffee
  • Juice
  • Fresh fruit

Enjoying breakfast in bed while wrapped in one of Queen Vic's incredibly comfortable bathrobes was honestly one of our favorite moments of the entire trip.

Bed & Beverage

With its newly acquired liquor license, Queen Vic has embraced its Bed & Beverage identity.

On weekends, the intimate onsite bar provides another social gathering space for guests.

When the bar wasn't open during our midweek stay, the staff happily provided us with champagne flutes and ice so we could enjoy a bottle of bubbles on the front patio.

The service throughout our stay was consistently warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming.

Overall Experience

After our stay at Queen Vic, we completely understand why so many guests return year after year.

What makes this property special isn't just the beautiful rooms or incredible location.

It's the atmosphere.

Queen Vic manages to feel luxurious without feeling pretentious, social without feeling overwhelming, and intimate without feeling small.

Whether you're visiting Provincetown for Pride, Bear Week, Tea Dance season, a romantic getaway, or simply a relaxing weekend on Cape Cod, Queen Vic offers an authentic Provincetown experience that's difficult to replicate elsewhere.
